ABOUT VARNA

Varna city features a population of 325137 people and is located on the coast of Varna bay, 470 kilometers from Sofia city. Varna is the biggest city on the Bulgarian Black sea coastline.
The length of the city is more than 11 km, and the width around 9 km including the new quarters. The city is located amphitheatrically following the curve of Varna bay and around it there are lots of gardens, vine plots and forests. Almost the entire territory is a villa area with extremely beautiful private structures and many hotels among them. The city is a regional centre.

TRANSPORT
The fastest way of traveling to Varna is by air. The flight from Sofia takes 45 minutes. At Varna airport there are arrivals all around the year.
The Railway Station is located in the southern part of the city. From the station trains travel to all directions in the country as the most used are the express trains tо Sofia and Plovdiv. A sleeping car ticket is advisably to be booked in advance.
